Beachborough Triathlon 15th June 2019

As ever the Beachborough triathlon offered athletes a well organised event sent in the beautiful grounds of Stowe School. The race, part of the South Central Series was incredibly competitive and our triathletes held their own against the best in the region.

An added challenge, if one was needed, was the weather which went from torrential rain to blue skies over the course of the day, causing some challenging conditions for the competitors.

The course was a flat and technical one, with a number of switch back turns that required good technique on the bike and the ability to accelerate out of the corners on the run.

Team Cherwell was well represented with a strong squad covering all age groups.

Well done to all who raced especially those who did so for the first time it was great to see so many big smiles round the course. A full breakdown of the times can be found here:
