A cold start to the Junior season – Southam 29 April

There was a strong Team Cherwell turnout for the first race in the Junior calendar at Southam Triathlon.  It was a bitterly cold day for these youngsters to start their season, however for all those who braved the weather we came out with some excellent results.

This is a great well run local event and the first in our Junior Grand Prix season.  Due to the relentless rain, we have had recently the bike course had to be shortened due to a boggy bottom field!  The top field was nice and firm although a tough reminder of how hard it is cycling on grass.
