Friday 25th March saw a group of TC Juniors race at the opening event of the South Central Multi Series in the Dinton Duathlon. It was held on a closed golf course and despite the days previous weather the ground was firm on the bike course although there were some soft areas to work hard through. The run was loops around a 400m circuit and the bike was around a 1000m course.

All the below racers have moved up to TS3 this year and it might have seemed a bit daunting to them all but a good result from all of you.
Daniel R 7th – Another new member to the club a good solid race from Thomas unfortunately the leaders managed to get away from him and despite his best efforts he couldn’t pull the gap back.
Max 8th – Max spent most of the bike on his own picking off people in front of him and it hurt! A good run from Max to end on.
Mabel 6th – A race to find our feet in the TS3 age group we now know the areas that we need to train on going forward.
This race dusted of the cob webs from our race heads. Most of you know what we need to train on going forward and hopefully with a few weeks to go till Bicester 17/4 which is the first triathlon race in the SCS. I know racing on grass isn’t the most fun but the majority of the SCS races are on grass and lets use our training nights to the full benefit. Well done to all of you who took part.
