Team Cherwell Junior Home Event – Sibford Triathlon 09 July

It was good to see the Team Cherwell Junior home event back after a few years.  It was a great turn out from the juniors and it was wonderful to see so many team colours out in the field throughout all age categories.  Everyone raced well and should be very proud to represent their team on this special day.  This race was part of the South Central Series so an important event for all those racing in the series.  We attracted a good turnout of high quality juniors all competing for vital points as the series reaches it’s climax.

A big thank you goes out to all coaches to parents as without them this event would not have taken place.  We had lots of parent and Adult Team Cherwell helpers on the day, which made the whole event run so smoothly – so thank you all.

A special thanks goes out to Sarah Shepherd for making it happen.  Without Sarah we would not have seen the return of the Team Cherwell Junior Triathlon.  It takes months of hard work and organising to bring an event like this together.
